How to create affirmations that help you realize your dreams and achieve your goals

What are affirmations?


Affirmations are positive statements that can help you to focus on your goals and transform and support your mindset in order to help you realize your dreams and achieve your goals.

Thoughts take up space in your mind and can either be used to support or hinder your quality of life, healing and your goal achievement.

The more positive and focused you keep your thoughts on where you are going, the easier it will be to get there.

The article talks about negative (unhelpful/unsupportive) statements:

  • I’m not making any money in my business.
  • I feel terrible.
  • I never get to see my family.
  • I hate my job.
  • I wish I could have a date night with my husband.


It then follows up with positive (helpful/supportive) how questions:

  • How can I make more money in my business?
  • How can I improve my health?
  • How can I spend more time with my family?
  • How can I have more fun at work?
  • How can I put work away in the evenings so I can have a date night with my husband?


Affirmations can take this one step further:

  • I see myself making more than enough money in my business.
  • I see myself experiencing optimal health
  • I see myself spending enjoyable and sufficient time with my family
  • I see myself truly enjoying the work that I do
  • I see myself putting my work away at _____ pm and enjoying my evening with my husband.

Affirmations are for your mind what going to the gym is for your body.

Affirmations (re)train your thinking and build the mental muscles to support you in realizing your dreams, achieving your goals, improving your health, strengthening your relationships – you name it.
